Brief description of the work:

My most "extensive" research interest is interpretation of
experimental XANES spectra of any material by comparing them with
theoretical calculations (based on the real-space multiple-scattering
formalism).
The most "intensive" interest of mine is combining the solid-like
real-space multiple-scattering formalism with molecular calculations
(X-alpha multiple scattering - method poineered by Johnson and Smith).
I am also interested in finding intuitively plausible ways of
understanding XANES spectra.
