Brief description of the work:

The ultimate goal of my work is to apply land snails for environmental monitoring.
So far, I was successful in making basic parameters of how the heavy metals ( Cu, Zn, and Cd)
could be accumulated and stored in parts of the body, including the shells. Also, I was successful
in observing growth differences which may occurr due to the environmental changes.
Through XAFS, I am convinced in obtaining results which help me to create a simple form of
model of an environment for what is stated above.
