Brief description of the work:

1) EXAFS studies of bond length variations starained III-V semiconductor (epitaxially grown) thin films, superlattices and (multi) Quantum Wells for optoelectronic devices.
2a) XANES and EXAFS characterization of metal (Ti, Fe, Ge, Ga) environment in isomorphically metal-substituted zeolites.
2b) XANESand EXAFS characterization of cation (Cu, Ag, Rb, Co, Fe) exchanged zeolites.
In all cases XAFS studies are supported by parallel laboratory studies such as IR, UV-Vis, lluminescence, EPR and XRD (also with SR).
