Brief description of the work:
My primary research interest is studying the relationships between
the structure of materials and their electronic, magnetic and
mechanical properties. To this end, I am interested in all aspects
of the interaction between light and matter that can be used to
study structures at the atomic level. Recently I have been
particularly interested in x-ray diffraction and absorption
spectroscopies and the polarization dependence of x-ray scattering
and absorption in the vicinity of atomic resonances.
